Closing Down

Hello everyone. To cut to the chase, I'll be closing down this site and discontinuing the White Day project soon.

However, I will keep an archive under the same URL (unnamedstudios.net) of all the files associated with White Day I would normally supply here:

  • Custom Skins
  • Load-able Save Files
  • Console/Cheat Mode Files
I will leave the availability of White Day itself up to sites whose users re-uploaded my work (such as ModDB). So if you want to download the game, then go elsewhere; I won't be supplying anything - It's actually quite easy to find now.

Any changes after v15.6 I'll be leaving for people to utilise.I'll create final changes in a v15.9 version of White Day, and hand the patch over to the uploader on ModDB or YouTube users who have been spreading White Day around with tutorials and whatnot.

White Day - "Unable to Save" Fixed

In the past, there has been several cases where people just couldn't save. They would save the game, then later on the game the saved simply wasn't there. Well I may have finally found the solution to this (also included on the FAQ).

The problem is to do with UAC restricting White Day's permissions from making the save folder in its own directory.

To solve this:

1) Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\WHITEDAY\" and right click "whiteday.exe".
2) Select 'Create shortcut' and Cut and paste the shortcut onto your Desktop.
3) Rename it to "White Day".
4) Right click the shortcut and click 'Properties'.
5) Copy this into the box labelled 'Target': %systemroot%\AppPatch\AppLoc.exe "%programfiles(x86)%\WHITEDAY\whiteday.exe" "/L0412"
6) Click Change Icon..., and paste %programfiles(x86)%\WHITEDAY\ico.ico into the box labelled 'Look for icons in this file:' and click OK twice.
7) Open the 'Compatibility' tab, click on 'Change settings for all users', and tick 'Run this program as an administrator'.
8) Click OK, and OK again. Launch White Day from this shortcut from now on.

White Day - More Loadable Saves for Crashes

These saves are to fix crashes as certain points in the game for the time being. However, using them for any purpose is welcome.

Choose a save file, then place the wsav0.sav file into "C:\Program Files (x86)\WHITEDAY\save".

If you want to move the save to a different save slot, rename the file to wsav1.sav for slot 2, wsav2.sav for 3 and so on until wsav7.sav, the last slot.

  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 2 Weird ~ Save (Download)
  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 3 Tragedy ~ Save (Download)
  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 4 Destiny Affects You ~ Save (Download)

  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 2 Isolation ~ Save (Download)
  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 3 Execration ~ Save (Download)
  • White Day - Normal - Chapter 4 Destiny Affects You ~ Save (Download)

White Day - Loadable Saves for the Opening Cutscene Crash

Mainly for players who experience a crash at the opening cut-scene of the game, download one of these saves to skip it.
Choose a difficulty, then place the wsav0.sav file into Program Files\WHITEDAY\save.
If you want to move the save to a different save slot, rename the file to wsav1.sav for slot 2, wsav2.sav for 3 and so on until wsav7.sav, the last slot.

Harder difficulties:

White Day - Download Versions

We wouldn't recommend using these installers unless you know what you're doing. Use these only for experimentation, using any of these will most likely corrupt your game.

Downloads:
1.16 to 1.17

White Day - Console/Cheat Mode

Before you download these tools, please bear in mind it can cause crashes to be more frequent in-game.

You can turn Cheat mode on or off at the new launcher as of v16 (30/06/2014).

Pressing 'Alt + Shift' will toggle it between EN and KO:

When you're in KO, press 'Alt Gr' to toggle between typing in English and typing in Korean:

And there you have it. Just toggle between EN to KO, then toggle between English typing to Korean typing while you're playing White Day, and you can type in Korean White Day console commands.

You can find a list of the console commands and what they do (in English) here:

White Day - Console Commands (View)

In the "Command" column, the upper text in Korean characters is the actual command, and the lower text in English characters is what you have to type on your English keyboard on the console to make the Korean characters.

To remove the Korean keyboard from your computer, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Start
  2. Type in 'region' and press Enter
  3. Click on the 'Keyboards and Languages' Tab
